A Meaningful Start to the Lenten Season
The school community at St Gregory’s Catholic Academy in Stockton gathered together yesterday for a beautiful Ash Wednesday service, led by Father Mark, to mark the beginning of Lent.

A sincere thank you goes to Father Mark, Mrs Elmer, Mrs Mash and Mrs Wilson, who supported the service and administered ashes to pupils and staff. Their presence and care helped create a peaceful and reflective atmosphere for everyone.

Following the service, children took time to write their Lenten promises and personal prayers, thinking carefully about how they could grow spiritually throughout this important season. It was a touching moment of reflection for all involved.
