Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough!
Here at St Gregory’s Catholic Academy, we couldn’t let such a remarkable milestone pass without a celebration of our own.
A School Transformed
To mark the occasion, our school was transformed into a vibrant jungle, bursting with colour, creativity and excitement. The atmosphere was alive with curiosity and wonder as pupils immersed themselves in a celebration inspired by the natural world Sir David has spent a lifetime protecting.
Learning From an Inspirational Life
Alongside the festivities, pupils explored the incredible life of Sir David Attenborough and the vital work he has done to raise awareness of nature, wildlife and environmental conservation. Through discussions and activities, children reflected on the importance of caring for our planet and protecting its many wonders for future generations.
A Sweet Celebration
No birthday celebration would be complete without cake - and we were more than happy to enjoy some delicious birthday cake in Sir David’s honour!
