We are incredibly proud of our Wellbeing Ambassadors, who recently took part in a litter pick at Hardwick Dene Nature Reserve, showing real commitment to caring for their environment.
Teamwork in Action
Despite the rainy weather, pupils demonstrated fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork and positivity, making the experience both rewarding and enjoyable. Their efforts helped keep the local area clean and safe for everyone.
Working Together with the Community
This initiative was made even more special through our partnership with McDonald’s Durham Road as part of their “Love Where You Live” campaign. Their support, including equipment and refreshments, helped make the day such a success.
Before heading out, pupils also took part in an important safety talk from Cleveland Fire Brigade, learning how to stay safe while working in the community.
Caring for the Environment
Our ambassadors showed true compassion and responsibility - even rescuing a toad trapped inside an old paint pot! It was a wonderful example of their care for both the environment and local wildlife.
Proud to Make a Difference
We couldn’t be prouder of our Wellbeing Ambassadors for their efforts. They are a real credit to our school and a shining example of how young people can make a positive impact.
A huge thank you to McDonald’s Durham Road for supporting our pupils and helping make this experience possible.
