What a math‑tastic day it has been at St Gregory’s in Bishop Auckland, as pupils and staff came together to celebrate the annual NSPCC Number Day in true number‑loving style!

Classrooms were buzzing with excitement from the moment the doors opened. Everywhere you looked, children were proudly wearing number‑themed outfits—from colourful jerseys and quirky sums to creative costumes bursting with numerical flair. It was a brilliant display of imagination, proving that making maths fun really is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Throughout the day, pupils took part in a variety of engaging maths activities designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and highlight just how much fun numbers can be. From problem‑solving games to hands‑on challenges, it was wonderful to see children collaborating, laughing, and celebrating their mathematical thinking.

Most importantly, the school community came together in support of the NSPCC, raising awareness and helping the charity continue its vital work for children in need.

A huge thank you to everyone - families, staff, and pupils - for your enthusiasm, creativity, and generosity. Days like this remind us how powerful a united school community can be.

Here’s to more learning, more fun, and many more unforgettable number-filled moments!
